There are plenty of ways in which you can shed a little bit of extra weight. In my opinion there is nothing better than a good few fat burning smoothies though. You see; smoothies are packed to the brim with tons of fantastic nutrients but they have none of the fat content, or at least not a lot of it. This means that you will be getting everything that your body needs without worrying about putting on extra weight. Now; there are tons of fat burning smoothies out there you can get. Some of them taste fantastic, others not quite so much (although they are still beneficial). On this page I want to introduce you to some of my favorite.
Mango Smoothie
This smoothie, as you may have guessed, is packed to the brim with mangoes. You will find an extra ‘surprise’ ingredient in there to give it a bit of a boost on the vitamin front though. Don’t worry; you won’t taste that avocado!
Ingredients:
· ¼ Cup of Mango Cubes
· ¼ Cup of Mashed Avocado
· ½ Cup Mango Juice
· Tablespoon of Lime Juice
· Tablespoon of Sugar (not a requirement)
· Ice Cubes
· ¼ Cup of Plain Yoghurt
Just blend them all together and you will end up with a pretty delicious-tasting mango smoothie.
Lemon Citrus Smoothie
When it comes to fat burning smoothies this is probably one of the easiest to make. There are few ingredients required.
Ingredients:
· Cup of Skimmed Milk. If you wish you can substitute this for soy milk.
· 6 Oz of Lemon Yoghurt (low fat if possible). You can substitute with plain yoghurt and add lemon zest if you wish but I find just using lemon yoghurt is the best way to go.
· Slice medium orange, peel removed.
· Ice Cubes
· If you wish for an extra zing then you can add some flax seed oil. It is not a necessity though. The flaxseed oil will help to clear out your system that much better. You should be able to find it in most health food stores.
To make this fat burning smoothie you just have to toss everything into the blender (bar the flax seed oil) and smooth it out. You can then stir the flaxseed oil in at the end (if you are using it)
Vanilla Yogurt and Blueberry Smoothie
This is probably my favorite one of the fat burning smoothies and makes sense to end with it. There is tons of flavor here considering you only really need a few ingredients. Again; I am going to mention flaxseed oil here but you really do not need to stir it in unless you really want to. It will not hamper the flavor if you don’t but adding it is going to be perfect as a detox.
Ingredients:

· 6 Ounces of Plain Yoghurt. For more flavor you can add vanilla yogurt (it would not be a vanilla yogurt smoothie without that!)
· Frozen Blueberries, 1 Cup
· 1 Tablespoon of Flaxseed Oil
